Fear Free’s boarding and daycare certification program teaches professionals how to utilize positive training methods to ensure that the boarding and daycare experience is as enjoyable as possible for every pet, every time. Founded by Dr. Marty Becker and developed by hundreds of experts in behavior, medicine, and handling, Fear Free® offers online and in-person education to veterinary professionals, the pet professional community, animal shelter staff and volunteers, and pet owners. Fear Free provides both professionals and pet lovers alike with the knowledge and tools to look after a pet’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

Why the Fear Free philosophy is important to us,

After taking over FURever Friends we wanted to have knowledge to back our business decisions. Finding education and a program to structure our practices and policies was key. After hearing about the Fear Free program from a vet friend, we knew it was the right program for us. Fear Free focuses on how to care for the dogs in a calm, gentle, and stress-free manner, and how to create an environment that evokes safety and comfort. We strive for every dog to have a positive experience, and to be excited when they get to come to our facility.
